Nestled in the charming streets of Estepona, overlooking a quaint courtyard beside a small church, BARDO is the perfect stop for those seeking an authentic Argentine culinary experience. This family-run restaurant, which recently brought its passion from Argentina to Spain, invites you to savor freshly prepared dishes that not only speak of tradition but resonate with the love and care of its creators.

The menu at BARDO is a celebration of flavors, with standout items such as the CLÁSICA DE TERNERA - a classic Argentine beef milanesa that is breaded to perfection, crispy on the outside yet tender on the inside, served alongside a fried egg and golden French fries for just €30.00. Another festive highlight is the POLLO A LA NAPOLITANA, a sumptuous free-range chicken Milanese topped with a rich tomato sauce, ham, melted mozzarella, and oregano, paired with creamy mashed potatoes for a delightful €28.50.

But it's not just about the mains; the MILANESA BARDO 2.0 is a must-try for those desiring an innovative twist on a beloved classic. And for an exceptional dining experience, the aperitifs are equally enticing – from a refreshing APERTOL SPRITZ to a traditional VERMUT ESPECIAL, enticing flavors await to elevate your meal.

Driving the essence of BARDO is not just its stellar cuisine, but also the inviting atmosphere and the warm, attentive service that patrons rave about. "The food was absolutely delicious, well prepared and presented," one reviewer noted, highlighting the friendly nature of the staff, while another described the ambiance as perfect for a lovely evening out. The hint of live flamenco music created a truly memorable dining experience. Given the family's deep-rooted passion for food, it's no surprise that guests leave feeling cared for and satisfied.

Whether you're here for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner, a visit to BARDO guarantees a colorful explosion of flavors, coupled with the warmth of familial hospitality. As you step into this delightful eatery, you're not just enjoying a meal; you're partaking in a heartfelt Argentine tradition. We had seen it when walking around visiting the pittoresk city centre with all its flowered alleys - and after continuing walking around, we came back to it. It was more than worse it. Delicious meals, very friendly staff, nice places besides a small church court: everything just perfect! One can almost feel the passion with which the owner family and staff people run this excellent restaurant.

We had some tapas here during the procession. The shrimp croquettes were delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. The chicken wings were good, and the artichoke was excellent. The food was so tasty that I’d be happy to come back and see what they serve in the restaurant section.

I am fairly well travelled and have eaten in many restaurants around the world and this comes with 5 stars across the board. We opted for a selection of staters. The flavours and presentation were top class. I go as far to say Michelin Star quality. The wine list was extensive and reasonably priced. This is a family run business and what a difference this makes to the service received. Service with a smile and passion. Definately worth a visit in you are ever in town

Had a lovely dinner here after stumbling across it. Family run Argentinian steak & tapas restaurant, only open for 3 months since the family moved from Argentina. We had steak, prawns & tapas. Excellent food & live flamenco music.
